Meet The Sisters Pendragon: traveling storytellers who bring fierce lady warriors back to life with a mix of humor, heart, and a healthy dose of smacking each other with miscellaneous weapons professional stage combat. Gloomy Mary believes every story needs a terrifying monster. Romantic Charlie and Jenny insist that love should always win. Their raucous sibling rivalry plays out live on stage — if they can stay in character, that is.
Each actress portraying a sister has extensive stage and improvisational experience, bringing decades of combined expertise to every performance. Collectively over 50 years! Zounds!

The Sisters Pendragon will take you on a wild ride through tales like the Irish legend of Cú Chulainn and his mysterious lady sword-master, or the daring exploits of the real-life Infamous Queen of the Pirates, Grace O'Malley (PG-13). In our fast-paced adaptation of Edmund Spenser's The Faerie Fiery Queene, the Red Cross Knight and the Lady Britomart battle dragons, dark sorceresses, and rival knights — but you'll have to see the fiery finale for yourself to discover how it all ends!
Where We Perform
We've delighted audiences across New England (and the pond) since 2021, performing regularly at Connecticut Renaissance Faire (2021–2024), Vermont Renaissance Faire (2023), Maine Renaissance Faire (2022–2025), New Hampshire Renaissance Faire (2023–2025), Ocean State Renaissance Faire (2025), Tiny Renaissance Faire in Yarmouth MA (2025), and even 2024 WorldCon in Glasgow, Scotland!
We offer 3–4 stage shows per day plus lane entertainment, and we're available for opening gate, parade, and final revels. Perfect for audiences ages 1–100!

The Fiery Queene
Edmund Spenser's "The Faerie Queene" is one of the longest poems in the English language. In this (highly abridged) retelling, the sisters recount the deeds of the Red Cross Knight and Britomart, the greatest swordswoman in the land, in her valiant quest to find her dearest love.

Yes! We are fully insured and carry an FAI certification for fire performance.

What types of events do you perform at?
We perform at Renaissance faires across New England, historical reenactments, and private parties.
Our event isn't in New England. Can you travel?
Yes! We primarily serve New England but may also travel to New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania for the right events. Day jobs and childcare keep us from straying too far from home, but short runs (1–2 weekends) may be possible if it proves financially sound. Just ask!
